Biography

Margaret was a daughter of John Padgett and Mary Elizabeth Tudor. She was raised in Morgan County, Tennessee before 1900.[1] She married John Snow Bird in 1901.[2] Their children were:

Rueben Byrd 1904–1972
Ralph Byrd 1909–1910
Agnes M Byrd Ledford 1913 - 1992
Hazel Lorain Byrd 1915-2001
Dorothy Byrd 1918-1994
Louise Bird Tolbert Bernard 1921-1999

The family lived in Overton County, Tennessee. [3] John and Margaret followed their children to Michigan before 1950 and settled in Battle Creek. [4] Margaret died in 1951 [5] and is buried in Campground Cemetery, Clarkrange, Fentress County, Tennessee. [6]
