Frances was born about 1755. No marriage record has been located but she is assumed to have married Joseph Hambrick c. 1775 in Bedford County, Virginia.
Frances and Joseph raised a large family and lived in Franklin Co. (formed from Bedford in 1786). A tentative list of her children is provided in Joseph's profile.
Only 2 records are known which mention Frances by name. One was when she relinquished her dower rights in 1787 and second in 1810 when she and Joseph were involved is a dispute with John Arthur and wife.
The 1810 census is the last record known, assuming Frances was the female >45 in Joseph's household. No probate records for Frances, or Joseph, have been recorded in Franklin Co.
She passed away sometime after 1810.
