Fred (Olsen) Engebretsen migrated from Kristiania (Oslo), Norway to United States.
Anders Fridthjof, son of Ole Engebretsen & Laura Andersdatter, was born on 26 May 1886 and baptized on 15 August 1886 in Fredrikstad, Smaalenenes, Norway.[1][2]
Anders Frithjof Engebretsen sailed from Oslo, Norway to New York, United States aboard the Oscar II on 24 April 1902.[3] Anders Frithjof Engebretsen emigrated to Iowa on 6 Apr 1907 aboard the Montebello.[4]
Anders Frithjof Engebretsen married Sophia Emelia Lundemoe on 11 March 1909 in Carlton, Minnesota, United States.[5] They had one son, Oliver Ingval Engebretsen (1909 - 1957). According to their profiles on Find A Grave, both "Fred" and Sophia Emilie died from influenza in February of 1920.
Fred Englebretsen was mentioned on a memorial in Conrad Memorial Cemetery, Kalispell, Flathead County, Montana, United States with a death date of 28 February 1920.[6]
