Hi Oliver, Ken Syphers here from Covid locked down Melbourne Australia. I have been doing a lot of work around the 2 Petronella Storms born 1709 and 1710. I am prevented from posting some of the fruits of my labor due to the PPP status on David Storm-13 and his wife Esther Sie-1. Here is the information I would post if I could.

The data on the two profiles omits 3 children, being Petronella, Cathariena and Catharina, it also probably lacks source references so I will outline it here :-1. Esther was b about 1796, the Old Dutch church did not exist then so possibly bap by circuit clergy. 2. Maria bap Aug 2 1698, (W: Jacob Sie and Catharina. 3. Annatje bap no date 1701, (W:Cornelis Van Texel and Antje). 4. Aeltje bap Aug 22 1705, (W: Jacob Van Texel and wife), 5. Susanna bap March 25 1796 (W:Peter Sie and Petronelle), 6. Cathariena bap March 30 1708, (W: Isaac Sie and Antje) she most likely died young, 7. Petronella bap March 21 1710, (W Gregorius Storm /Geesje Van Dyk), 8. Catharina bap March 25 1712 (W: Jacobus Sie and Catharina) 9. Elizabeth b May 25 1714, (W: Abraham Van Dyck and wife. There is no record of Bap for David, maybe he died at birth or maybe no such person. David the Father was the pillar of the church had all his children at the ODC sleepy Hollow, David was multiple times Elder and Deacon. Church records from ODC are my source. Please let me know if more info or action required from me. My main interest was to clarify the issue of two Petronellas' the other one being the Daughter of Peter Storm, I am hopeful that getting both "in the system" will help clarify things for a lot of searchers. I have created a profile for Willem Davids who married Petronella (dau of David, in 1733 at ODC she died 1799 and is buried near ODC (find a grave).

Hi Charles,

Serendipity led me to your profile of James Wall, who is prominently covered in an article on an ancestor in my tree.

I got so interested that I filled in a bit of his information. I belong to the New England Historical Genealogical Society, which publishes many such articles (about $80/year and better for many things than Ancestry in my opinion).

I put the details on the article in the source material on James' profile, so if you want to order copies from your library, they should be able to accommodate you. My large city library (Portland, Oregon) is very good about sending me emails with the pages I request attached, but only if I can give page#s etc.

Hope you enjoy the data.

best regards, April

HI Charles--yoorn in 1906 in Detroit Michigan. You seem to have family roots near mine. My maternal grandfather was Paul. N. Schultz. He was born in 1906, one of 12 children. His sibling's names (that I remember) were: Rose, Helen with son Harold I think, but I don't know any others. Grandpa was a tool and die maker and lived on Kilbourn Street in Detroit as an adult. His children were Mary Katherine and Paul Schultz. Donna Bronski

Regarding Swayne-91 and Swaine-200 merge. You put it as unmerged matched on the grounds that Swayne-91 should be the destination profile. Two things:

I wonder why you prefer Swayne as the last name at birth; I chose Swaine for the merged because it was the same spelling as the father. If you know something different about why it should be Swayne, I'd love to know about it.

Second: Even if Swayne is more correct than Swaine, despite the father's last name, you don't have to create an unmerged match to reverse a merge. When the merge is completed, there's a step where you can reverse the target.
