Biography
Amanda O'Neal was born about 1838 in Mississippi. Her parents were Harvey M. O'Neal and Mariah Cade Gibson. Harvey died in 1846 so was not listed on the 1850 census. [1]
Amanda O'Neal married Benjamin F. Crownover 4 Februrary 1855 in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. [2]
In 1870 Amanda Manzinger is listed with her husband, Lewis Manzinger (last name may be misspelled). There are three young children in the household with the surname of Crownover; the oldest is 9 and the youngest is 5 years old. They live in Bossier Parish, Louisiana. [3]
In 1880 the Monzingo family is living in Webster Parish, Louisiana. The three Crownover children are still at home plus there are now three Monzingo children. [4]
Amanda passed away after 1880. [5]
