Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1848 to Thomas O'Neill and Margaret Brennan of Clara Parish, Kilkenny. She was baptised on 1 January 1849 at Grove, Clara, Kilkenny. Sponsors were Patrick Murphy and Ellen Murphy.
Her family emigrated to Australia in the mid 1850's arriving in Sydney. They later settled in Gympie, Queensland where Thomas O'Neill worked as a Farmer.
Mother Margaret passed away in 1898 and her father Thomas in 1903. Both are buried at Gympie Cemetery. Location RCP-9-277 & RCP-9-276.
Elizabeth married on 30 September 1866 in Queensland to Bryan Byrne.
