Hi Sam, i see that you created this profile Elizabeth Traill without any links to others - the only information is b1725. Do you have any more information on this person? On page 47 of https://archive.org/details/agenealogicalac00unkngoog/page/n62/mode/2up there is an Elizabeth Traill b1725, with parents identified - I'm thinking that these are the same people - if you agree then I'll link that profile to the parents, which I've recently created in Wikitree.
Hi Tom. You may have some interest in the Cunningham family that made it's way to Australia in the 1850's from Cleenish/Enniskillen area. Suspect the John Cunningham in your tree may be one of the missing brothers/sons.
You tagged your interests in Ireland, I wanted to let you know we have a lively project that focuses on Irish family here called the Irish Roots Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.
The project pages contain lots of advice, links videos etc for researching Irish ancestors.
Thank you for joining WikiTree and good luck with your research.
Thanks for completing the tags indicating you wish to research/document your family history. I have found WikiTree to be an excellent tool for research and collaboration.
You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree! Thank you for volunteering.
Hello Tom, and welcome to WikiTree! The initial email from us has helpful links that will get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
When you confirm your email address, youll have an opportunity to become a member of WikiTree. Just add a Tag for each family surname or location you are researching. Then click the Post Tags and Volunteer button. (information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags). One of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.
WikiTree is an exciting and growing community and we are really glad you decided to join us.
There was a Abraham Esseltine who moved to Vermont, just across from Quebec.
I would expect your related.
My 4X great grandmother Elizabeth (Esseltine) McIntosh [1] was of the family...
I haven't filled out the descent but it has been traced it back to the 1640...
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
