Biography
John O'Neill, 1st Viscount O'Neill was born on 16 January 1740, the son of Charles O'Neill and Alice Brodrick. [1][2]

John O'Neill married Henrietta Boyle, daughter of Charles Boyle, Viscount Dungarvan and Susanna Hoare, on 18 October 1777.
John O'Neill died on 17 June 1798 at age 58, in Lord Massereene's castle, [3] from wounds received from insurgent pikemen 10 days eariler.
