Biography
Proper sourcing in progress
Muircheartach O'Neill was the son of Aedh 'Macaemh Tóinleasg', King of Cenel Eoghain. He died in 1202, killed by Mac Lochlainin. [1]
Note-The MacLochlainns were O'Neills, not O'Briens. Muirchertach was the successor of Toirdelbach, but not his son. The kingship of Ireland wasn't a succession by birth, it was a power struggle between warlords of rival clans.

strange to find sources for supposed parents and supposed children, but nothing yet for this chap at all
the genealogy given in (the peerage) needs confirmation
