Biography

Patrick O'Mahony who was executed on 28 February 1921 at Victoria (Collins) Barracks, Cork.

Section Commander, 1 Cork Brigade and member of Flying Column. O’Mahony was wounded during the ambush. His mother Kate was awarded £100 but was refused an allowance in the 1950’s when the Minister for Finance deemed her not dependent on her son.
