Biography
Controversial Irish comedian Dave Allen was born David Tynan-O'Mahoney, in 1936 at Firhouse, south Dublin,Ireland.[1] His parents were Irish Times Editor Gerard O'Mahony and Jean (Archer) O'Mahony.
He was awarded a lifetime achievement for his work in comedy at the British Comedy Awards in 1996.
He was married twice
- His first marriage was to Judith Stott from 1964 to 1983 .They 2 children ; Jane and Edward
- He married Karin Stark in 2003 .Their son, Cullen, was born three weeks after Dave’s death.
He died on 10 March 2005 at the age of 68.
