Biography

I was unable to find info on Abra's parents, but the Nute family appears to be founded in America by a James Nute, making it likely he is an ancestor to Abra, of Dover, New Hampshire

Abra Nute was born on May 8, 1784, in Dover, New Hampshire. She married John K Walker on June 12, 1808, in New Hampshire. They had eight children in 17 years. She died in March 1860 in Farmington, New Hampshire, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried there.

Marriage: John K. Walker of Farmington married Abra Nute of Milton on June 12, 1808, in New Hampshire.[1] [2]

Daughter, Deborah Walker born October 1812 in Strafford, New Hampshire. (1812–1827; Age 14.)
Daughter, Lydia Walker born September 27, 1816, in Farmington, New Hampshire. (Mrs. Foss; 1816–1858; age 41)
Son, Seth Walker born 1818 in Farmington, New Hampshire. Died 1892 of apolexy. He farmed.
Daughter, Martha A. O. Walker born June 1821 Strafford, New Hampshire. (1821–1840; age 18)
Son, John N. Walker born 1824 in Farmington, New Hampshire. Died 1894.
Son, Joseph Hanson Walker born October 24, 1825, Farmington, New Hampshire. (1825–1897)
Daughter, Deborah Walker (namesake of her sister) born in September 1828 in Farmington, New Hampshire. This Deborah Walker (Mrs. Moore) lived to 1910.

Abra passed away in March 1860 of heart disease from which she was ill for a year, in Farmington, New Hampshire.[3]
