Note N1341(V) Simon, eldest child of Thomas and Deborah (Marston) Nudd, was born February 6, 1735, and died October 30, 1818, remained on the homestead, was a large land-owner and farmer, and a cornet in the militia. He married Elizabeth Hook, of Salisbury, Massacusetts, who died October 14, 1799, aged fifty-nine years. They had nine children: Thomas, Simon (died young), Mary, Betty, Simon, Moses, Samuel, David and Jacob. (Stearns - p564)
