Charles "Mick" Nott was born on 3 August 1914 in Warragul, Victoria, Australia, son of Rose Ella (Greenhill) Nott and Edwin Albert Nott.

He married Carla May Love in 1940 in Victoria.^[1]

Mick died on 22 July 1976 in Lindenow South, Victoria, aged 61 years.^[2] His remains were cremated.^[3]
