During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let us know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.
Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending my Co-Leader, Missy Berryann (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Berryann-1) a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.
If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email address for WikiTree is one you actually still use.
Thank you!

I saw your question to Larry: You added a spouse to Louis C Tordsen, citing Find A Grave. Do you have any other information connecting [Tordsen-10] with [Kosel-35]? I could not find any record of their marriage, and no sources were cited on his Find A Grave memorial. Additionally, his death record states that he was divorced at the time of death.
And his response to you: I wanted you to verify the statement. If you don't think it is supported, please feel free to remove it.
So silly me went hunting... https://peoplelegacy.com/louis_c_tordsen-2D6x6b1 Relatives of Louis C Tordsen: parents: Jurgen Tordsen (d. 1898) Dorethea Gretta Buch Tordsen (d. 1917) spouses: Elizabeth W. Kosel Berg (d. 1959) children: Minnie P Tordsen Wersal (d. 1988) siblings: Maria Tordsen Grundmeyer (d. 1940)
These are different persons, obviously, so not sure if you have anything corroborating, but since I'd looked, I thought this might be helpful to you. I'm having way too much find finding new sources of things, and am very inexperienced at what this site wants for citations, etc. I've been playing with my tree for most of my life, as grandmothers on both sides passed things to me due to my interest. It's great to see some of the old books online! Best wishes & happy searching...
It looks like Larry is correct. Anna and Louis are listed together in the census in 1920, but with other spouses in the 1930 census. This can be confirmed by matching the surnames of the children in each household, and by reviewing the column "age at first marriage." (I found all this data at FamilySearch.org)
Anna was legally remarried in July 1928, so Anna and Louis must have divorced before Jan 1928.
The census records for both Anna and Louis and their subsequent spouses in 1920 and 1930, as well as the marriage record for Anna in 1928 are all located within close geographic proximity of each other.
What an interesting mystery to solve!
I sent you a message a couple of weeks ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have not yet heard back from you. I hope you are well!
If I don’t hear back from you by the end of April, I will assume you no longer wish to be a member of the Germany Project and I’ll go ahead and remove you from our member roster. You are, of course, welcome to rejoin at any time via our G2G sign-up post.
Best wishes,
Traci ~ Germany Project co-leader
The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.
REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) I see you've added German_Roots (our old project name) to your G2G tags, you should also add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).
Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I just wanted to remind you to always merge towards the lowest numbered profile
Thanks!
I just wanted to say hello and to share with you that we are 27th cousins. Our common ancestor is Henry Plantagenet (1133 - 1189). Henry II, King of England. Wiki ID: Plantagenet-1627. He is your 26th g-grandfather and mine.
Because you have deep ancestral roots back to and beyond the Monarchy of Europe, your ancestors represent many different countries beyond 30 generations. Many are Monarchs of France, England, etc.
You can verify all these ancestors yourself by accessing the relationship tools in the drop down menu on your profile, if you havent already.
Just wanted to share this and to say Hello. Isn't Wikitree Fun!

If you would like to come join us, registration ends on the 19th. Right now it can be found here https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/591340/will-you-participate-in-our-2018-spring-clean-a-thon-current. If it no longer says current it should have a link to the current one. All you have to do then is say you are in and are with Tidying Tornadoes. I hope to see you there, Amanda
Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Project participation is strongly encouraged because so many of us share ancestors by the time we get back that far. I'm here to help you find a project that best fits your current research focus.
Think about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on.
If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.
Debi ~ Volunteer Coordinator
