Biography
Aloysius was born on 19 Aug 1882 in Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas,[1] the son of Aloysius Nolte and Mary Ann Bertke.
The 1900 Census[2] shows him at age 18 in the home of his parents in Marion Township, Nemaha County, Kansas. He is a farm laborer.
He married Mary Magdalena Krogmann on 20 Apr 1909 in Seneca, Nemaha, Kansas.[3] Their children:

- Edwin Henry Nolte (1913–1980)

The 1920 Census[6] shows him at age 36 with his wife and five children in Center Township, Nemaha County, Kansas. He is a farmer.
The 1930 Census[7] shows him at age 47 with his wife and eight children in Center Township, Nemaha County, Kansas. He is a farmer.
The 1940 Census[8] shows him at age 57 with his wife and four children in Center Township, Nemaha County, Kansas. He is a carpenter.
His World War II Draft Registration Card[9] shows him working as a day laborer. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. The "person who will always know your address" is A. F. Reinecke, Seneca, Kansas.
The 1950 Census[10] shows him at age 67 with his wife in Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas. He is unable to work.
He died on 9 Jun 1957 in Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas, and is buried at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Seneca, Nemaha County, Kansas.[11]
