Biography

Henry Noll, Jr. was the son of Henry Noll, Sr. and Magdalena, and he was born about 1820. However, the burial record shows that he died at his age of 27 years, 1 month, 25 days on 27 June 1847, so the calculation on his age at death shows that he was born on 2 May 1820.

Henry Noll, Jr. died at his age of aged 27 years, 1 month, 25 days and was buried at Dininger Cemetery in Coletown, Drake County, Ohio.[1]

Henry Noll, Jr. signed his name on his will on 7 June 1847, and his will was presented in Darke County Court of Common Pleas and was proved on 1 July 1847.

In the name of God Amen, I Henry Noll Jr. of Washington Township, Darke County and State of Ohio being sick and weak in body but of Sound mind memory and understand praised be god for it and considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this world whenever it Shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner folowing that is to Say first and principally I commend my into the hands of Almighty god my Creator hoping for free pardon and remission of all my Sins and to enjoy everlasting happiness in the heavenly Kingdom through Jesus Christ my Savior, my boy I commit to the earth at the diserction of my Executor herein after named.

I dipose of the same as follows (viz) I will to my Loving wife all the household and Kitchen furniture all except one bed and bedstead and I also will to my loving Catharine two Cows and four sheep and I also will to Henry Noll Sen, my Black man and her gears ready to Lledet and I also will to my Mother Magdalena one bed and bedstead and my will is that all the ballance of my property shall be appraise and sold at publick sale and all my Just debts as shall be by me owing at my death together with my funeral expenses and all charges touching the proving of or otherwise concerning this my will and after my debts are fully paid and Satisfied and from and after payment thereof and Subject thereto then my will is hat all the ballance is be divided into two equal parts one equal part whereof I give unto my loving wife Catharine and and the other equal part to my Mother Magdalena. And I make and ordain Henry Knoll Executor of this my last will and testament

Pesonally came in open Court before the Court of Common Pleas of Said County William Rank and William Noll two of the Subscribing witnesses to a paper this day produce in open Court purpurting to be the last will and testament of Henry Noll Jr late of Said county deceased who being duly Sworn Say that they Saw the said deceased Sign said paper as his last will and testament and he and him acknowledge the Same and that they Signed the Same as witnesses thereto in the presence and at the request of him and that said deceased was at the time of executing the Same of Sound mind and memory of full age and not under any restraint whatever to their Knowledge and further sailt not.
