Biography

Claude was born on 24 May 1733 in St. Etienne-de-Beaumont, Nouvelle France, son of Jacques Nolet and Marie Jeanne Coulombe. [1][2]

He married his first wife, Marie Doiron, on 22 September 1760 at St-Étienne-de-Beaumont. [3] Together, they had one child:

  1. Marie Catherine Nolet, n. 1763

After the death of his first wife, he married Marie Anne Gotreau, daughter of Jean Gotreau and Elisabeth Cyr, on 4 February 1793 at St-Jean-Baptiste parish of L'Isle Verte. [4][2]


He passed away in Trois-Pistoles, Bas-Canada on 18 November 1804. [5]
