From Fathers testament --Belheavin, 18 April 1613. He made his spouse, Cristiane Forrester and his son, John Nisbit, his executors and legatees. Made between 8 and 9 at his dwelling house before witnesses, Alexander Lauder of Belheavin, John Nisbit, his brother and James Atchesone, his servant, Patrick Nisbit and William Atchesone, burgesses of Dunbar. He could not sign his name and so held the pen of the notary, George Purvis, who signed for him
In the Confirmation Clause, it was recorded that Cristiane Forrester was appointed as only executor, as her son, John, was still a minor. Mr Gavin Nisbit stood as cautioner
