I was born as Roscius Clinton Newell, Jr. My father, Roscius Clinton Newell,Sr.. was serving in the U.S. Army in the Philippines at the time of my birth. When I was a little over a year old, my parents divorced and my mother re-married. My step-father Morris B. Slocum adopted me and my name was changed to Richard Copeland Slocum. I have gone by R.C. Slocum since I was adopted.

Richard , you can go to the YELLOW TAB which says EDIT . In OTHER LAST NAME FIELD, you can enter Slocum. I hope that answers your question. You can also write in your biography that to include your Stepfather's family live as well.

I am not sure how to list my name. I was born Roscius Clinton Newell,Jr. At an early age, my parents divorced. I was adopted by a step father and my name changed to Richard C. Slocum. My grandfather was Isaac Corbin Newell.
