Biography

I have always been fascinated with history, even more so the history of my family. I have dabbled with my family tree ever since I was 13. I began seriously collecting the nuts, acorns, and leaves of the Newcomb, Truman family trees in 2001 to 2004 and stopping to take a 10 year break due to lack of time to devote to proper research. Picking back up in 2014 after losing my father to lymphoma that was caught only days before his passing.

When I picked back up researching my wonderful wife became interested in her side of the family and has started researching her family as well. Between the two of us we have managed to document 5684 (as of 9/20/14) various nuts, acorns, leaves and branches of our tree.

I along with my cousins and others have researched the Newcomb line back to the 1100s in Saltfleetby, England.

I've always been fascinated with cemeteries and the residents there, I have started documenting residents in the Harris county cemeteries.
