Biography

d/o Alexander Nevers (1787-1833) & Millicent Peters (1794-1861)

grand d/o Samuel Nevers (1761-1827) & Isabella Howard (1763-)

Emmaline was born in 1832. She was the daughter of Alexander Nevers and Millicent Peters.

Emmaline and her husband, Charles A. Chase had nine (9) children together. After he died (1901), Emmaline moved from Carleton County and lived for some years, with her daughters (Alvaretta and Alma), in Portland Maine.

After 1910, she and her unmarried daughter, Alvaretta relocated to Saint-John City, where she died in 1921. Her remains were brought back to Carleton County and laid to rest beside Charles, in Upper Brighton Cemetery.
