Biography

Math Nett, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, 27 January 1986 at the Villa Loretta Nursing Home at Mount Calvary, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where he had resided for three months. He was born on 9 September 1900 at Marytown, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, a son of Andrew Nett, 1864-1937 and Katherine (Gilles) Nett, 1864-1943. He never married.

Mr. Nett farmed on the family estate until his retirement in about 1965. He was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Marytown and its Holy Name Society. He had attended the Marytown Catholic Grade School.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and siblings, Johann "John" Nett, 1896-1970; Marie Anne (Nett) Sabel, 1897-1976; Joseph Nett, 1899-1948; and Julia Nett, 1905-1982.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at the church in Marytown where the Rev., Fr. Russell Wilton officiated.

Burial followed at the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Marytown, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The findagrave memorial ID is 195497499.
