Hello!! Do you have any Stewart connections to Alabama and/or Georgia??

Probably, but I have only tracked the Va/WVA/NC Stewarts. I would love to share!

Hi, Brenda!

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.

Thanks. I am off work for the summer, so I hope to get this thing up and running. I have a lot of background work on another site that i wish to push over. Any advice is welcome. Thanks for all you do!

Brenda, I've used very small gedcoms to help moving info from my database to WIkiTree. This can also be done from other genealogy sites (Ancestry, for example). Large gedcoms just make for more work as gedcom uploads to not transfer well (profiles needing updating as I go). I found it easier to work by creating one profile at a time. It seems more laborious, but I get it right the first time without having to go back.

I hope your WikiTree journey will be as fruitful and enjoyable as mine has been!
