Biography
Marie Philomène Naud was born on 20 May 1837 and was baptized two days later on 22 May in Saint-Joseph parish in Deschambault. She was the daughter of Olivier Naud and Marguerite Paquet. Sponsors at Philomène's baptism were Alexandre Naud and Marie Josephe Naud; neither sponsor nor the father signed the register.
At age 26 Philomène married François Xavier Darveau, widower of Louise St-Amand, on 9 Nov 1863 in Saint-Alban parish in Portneuf, Canada-Est. There were seven known children born into this marriage
Philomène Naud, widow of Xaver Darveau, died at age 71 on 12 Jun 1908 in Saint-Marc-des-Carrières in Portneuf; she was buried three days later on 15 Jun in Saint-Marc-des-Carrières parish cemetery.
