Elmira (Nailor) Johnson is a part of US Black heritage.
Elmira Nailor was born in 1843 in Pennsylvania. She was the wife and widow[1] of Civil War veteran William Johnson of the famous 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry.
After divorcing a previous husband, she married William Johnson in 1885.[1]
