Muth, 72, widow of former Allentown Police Capt. Lloyd P. J. Muth and mother of Patrolman Richard L. Muth, died yesterday at the Parkway Rest Home in Allentown. Mrs. Muth, of 2031 S. 6th St., was a guest there since Thursday. She was in ill health about three years. Her husband was a captain for 10 years before retiring in 1946 because of ill health. He died a year later at age 56. Mrs. Muth was born at Friedensville, a daughter of the late Oscar and Emma Sabina (Yeager) Weaver. She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church and was a past commander of the Navy Mothers Club of Allentown. Surviving with her son are two other sons, Robert W. and Charles E., both at home; a daughter, Dorothy M., wife of Glen S. Corman, Allentown; two grand-children, and two sisters, Gertrude Weaver and Mrs. Harry Bieber, both of Allentown. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Werley Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St. Calling hours will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday."
