Born about 1631, Christopher Musgrave was the third son of Sir Philip Musgrave Bart. and his wife, Juliana Hutton.[1] He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford and Gray's Inn. [1]
The King and his brothers entered London in triumph on the 29th of May 1660 and two days later, amid the royalists euphoria, Christopher married Mary Cogan at St Peter, Paul's Wharf. [2] They were parents of three children, Philip, Christopher and Maria. [3] Mary died on the 8th of July 1664. [1]
On the 15th of May 1671 he married Elizabeth Frankland or Franklin, daughter of Sir John Franklin of Willesden in Middlesex. [1]They were parents of six sons and six daughters. [1]
Christopher succeeded his brother, Richard, as the fourth baronet on the 27th of December 1687. [1]
Christopher died on the 29th of July 1704, aged 73. [1] He was succeeded by his grandson Sir Christopher Musgrave, 5th Bart.
