I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know.
I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Congratulations on your Pre-1700 Self-Certification! Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Or you're interested in a particular time period, location, or topic ? Let me know. I can help you figure out if any Projects fit your interests and introduce you to the Leaders.
Projects are a great way to collaborate on your ancestors' profiles and learn the naming conventions and other standards used for profiles from particular places and time periods.
Have you read Research Before Editing? The Sources Style Guide is also essential reading for working on pre-1700 profiles.
Have fun

Welcome to WikiTree! Thank you for your contributions to WikiTree! I see that you've created at least two duplicates in the past couple days: Richard Goodman and his wife Abigail (Pantry). We only should have one profile for each person on WikiTree. Please refer to the following information on duplicates and why we don't want them: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Duplicates These profiles will need to be merged. Please read these instructions on merging and propose merges for them both: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Merging#Merges
Also, if you would please ensure you aren't creating duplicates before adding profiles to the tree, it would be terrific.
Thank you, Sharon
If you need any help getting started check out the help section from the menu, top right, or head over to the G2G forum and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
We also have Mentors to help too.

The initial email from us has helpful links that get you started on WikiTree, which is not like any genealogy site youve ever used.
WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person, and that means we all work together as a BIG collaborative team!
What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research youd like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?
Welcome to the Family, were really glad youre here.
