Biography

Pleze Murphy is a part of US Black heritage.

Pleze was born about 1906. He was the son of Primus Murphy and Sarah Jackson. In the 1920 census Plez (age 13) was the son of Prinnus Murphy in Justice Precinct 3, Gonzales, Texas.^[1]

Pleze moved to Harlingen, Texas around 1942, where he worked as a caretaker for a number of residences.In the 1920 census Plez (age 13) was the son of Prinnus Murphy in Justice Precinct 3, Gonzales, Texas.^[2]

In the 1950 census Joe (age 50) was the never married head of household in Harlingen, Cameron, Texas, United States. His brother Joe was also living with him.In the 1950 census Plaze (age 39), Yard Cleaner, was the separated brother of Joe Murphy in Harlingen, Cameron, Texas, United States.^[3]

Pleze died (age 46) on 25 June 1952 in Harlingen, Cameron, Texas, United States.^[4] Pleze was survived by three sisters and three brothers.^[2]
