Margaret G Mudd was born 25 Jan 1921. Her mother is listed as Sada Richards. Volume 4, Certificate 1994. ^[1]

1930 – Kentucky, Henderson County, Point, District 1, 15 Apr 1930 Sheet 10B shows the Joseph D. Mudd family with Joseph D. (39), wife, Sadie I. (33) and children Helene J. (12), Stella M. (11), Margaret I. (9), Edna M. (7) and Thelma M. (4). All report they are their parents were born in Kentucky except Sadie who reports her father was born in Indiana and they report that Thelma was born in Indiana. The farm is still rented and still located on Reed and Carlinsburgh Road. They report Joseph was 25 when they married and Sadie was 19. ^[2]

1940 – Kentucky, Daviess County, Lower, District 30-24, 18 Apr 1940 Sheet 10A shows Joseph Mudd (49), wife Sadie (43) and children Margaret (19), Edna (17), Thelma (14), David (5), Carrol (2) and Ruth (9 mos.) living in the home they rent for $10. Joseph has an 8th grade education and Sadie, Margaret and Edna have completed 2 years of high school. All were born in Kentucky. They all report living elsewhere in rural Henderson County in 1935. Joseph is a farmer and Margaret works in the mounting department of a radio tube manufacturer. ^[3]

1942 - Kentucky, Daviess County, Owensboro
Margaret Isabel and WG Klein were married 16 Oct 1942 at the Sacred Heart Rectory. Her parents lived in Stanley, Kentucky, The couple was going to live in Evansville after the marriage at 1716 South Fares Ave. ^[4]

1944 – Indiana, Vanderburgh County, Evansville The 1944 City Directory for Evansville shows Walter G. Klein and wife Margaret I living at 22315 1.2 W. Franklin, Apartment 1. Walter is a brakeman for L&N RR.

1950 - New Mexico, Los Alamos County, Los Alamos, District 15-1, 12 Apr 1950
Sheet 36 of the census shows Walter G Klein (30), wife Margaret I (29) and children John D (5), James R (4), Jerry W (3) and Caroline A (1) living in the home at 1698 13th Street. Walter, John D and Jerry W were born in Indiana, Margaret and James R in Kentucky and Caroline in New Mexico. Walter is a supervisor mechanic and worked 48 hours the week before the census. Walter reports his father was from Denmark and his mother from the US, he worked 52 weeks in 1949 and earned $3,900 and completed 2 years of college. ^[5]

She is survived by sons, John and wife Maureen, Jim, Jerry and wife Yvonne of Clear Water, FL, Ed and wife Sandra; daughters, Carolyn and husband Ruben, Valverde of Farminton, Kim and husband Gerald, Niccoli of Trinidad, CO; sisters Carol Porretto and husband Charles of Tallahassee, FL, and Ruth Johnson; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Margret was preceded in death by her husband Walter George; son, Walter Herman. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
