Ann Matilda Mudd was born on October 4, 1798 in Maryland, United States, daughter of Richard Mudd (~1760–1828).
Ann married James Luckett Simms (born on October 27, 1792 in Maryland; son of John Simms Jr. and Frances (Moore) Simms). Their children were:
Ann died on June 14, 1876, aged 77. She was buried in Saint Rose Cemetery, Springfield, Washington County, Kentucky.[1]
