Hi James,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi James

Just checking in to see if you are ok :)

It has been 3 weeks since I posted a message on your profile and I have not had any feedback from you.

If I don't hear from you by the weekend, I will presume you no longer wish to be involved in the England Project.

I will then go ahead and remove you from the project and remove the badge.

Hope to hear from you soon :)

Thanks,

Wendy Leader, England Project

Hi James ,

It's been a year since the England Project was re-ignited. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey!

We really appreciate all your contributions and hard work :)

We would love some feedback from you please. :)

Are you happy contributing with the team you are on, or would you like a change, or even add to another team?

If you are not already on a team, which one would you like to be on?

If you are not sure what is available, just ask, we are here to help :)

Are you still happy contributing to the England Project?

Please PM me through my profile and let me know how you are doing :)

Thank you :)

Wendy Leader England Project.

Hi James

A warm welcome to the England Project. We are so glad you joined us!!

Your badge also automatically signs you up to the United Kingdom Project.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and don’t forget to add England and United_Kingdom to your tags.

Hello Jim,

I am forwarding the link on Helping to edit a photo and there is a link near the bottom about Frequently Asked Questions as well.

If this does not contain the answers you seek, please let me know and we can discover answers together! Looking forward to helping again if needed.

Thanks, Cindy

Hi James --

You’ve been here about a week, so I’m just checking in. How is it going so far? Were the How-Tos helpful or did they leave you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.

Hi James, Thank you for the message and questions!

Have you clicked the link in the below confirmation message on the New Member How to Use WikiTree Pages? It is a great guide for helping you in getting started at WikiTree.

Click here on how to adopt orphaned profiles. How do you find and adopt orphans? Orphaned profiles will have a little "[adopt this profile]" link where the manager's name usually appears. Note that you'll need to be a signer of Honor Code for this form to work.

Click here for Help Page on [https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Adding_Family Adding Family by Connecting Existing Profiles.

David ~ WikiTree Mentor

P.S. If you ever get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree email, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.

Hi James,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)
