Biography

Louis Moyse dit Latreille was born about 1694 in Acadia. [1] He was the son of Françoise Moyse dit Latreille and Madeleine Vincent. He appeared on the 1698 census at Rivière Saint-Jean at 4 years of age[2].

He married Marie-Louise Petitpas, daughter of Claude Petitpas and Marie-Thérèse, about 1718 at Port Tououse, Isle Royale. [1]

Their known daughter was Marie Moyse (1741 – unknown).
