Biography

Domenico Moscato, son of Carmelo Moscato and Francesca la Sala, is born on 27 January 1855 in his parents' home on via del Carmine in Corleone.^[1]

He marries Giuseppa Armato, daughter of Giuseppe Armato and Leoluchina Bellanca, on 20 October 1879.^[2]

Domenico and Giuseppa have at least three children: Carmelo (1882), Giuseppe (c. 1884) and Francesco (c. 1904).

Carmelo is baptized 8 March 1882.^[3] Giuseppe's birth year is based on his reported age at marriage.

Domenico is the brother-in-law of Michele Coniglio, a Morello associate who has fled to New York City by 1892-3 with Domenico's sister, Lucia, and their brother, Luigi.

Giuseppe marries Lucia Giuffrida on 26 June 1910 in Manhattan. Giuseppe is 26 (b. 1884).^[4]

Francesco marries Antonina Raia on 11 November 1928.^[5]
