Biography

Joshua Morris was a part of William Penn's Pennsylvania Settlers community.

Birth

Birth date of 1660 is estimated based on his voyage on the Welcome where he is named a tinplate worker and the fact that he witnessed a will onboard the ship.[1]

"Joshua Morris was a tinplate worker. He witnesses Heriott's will on the Welcome and died at Keithian in 1696.[1]

Research Notes

Possibly this is the Joshua Morris (born 12 Feb 1658) who was the son of the Quaker Paul Morris of Ballylongner (near Ross Carbery), County Cork.
