Biography
Sephora was born 25th of April 1830 at Cwmergyr Farm, just east of Ponterwyd, and baptized at Llanychaearn Welsh Calvinistic Methodist chapel on 13th June 1830. She was the daughter of John Morgans and Anne Richards.
She married Richard James of Nant y Moch and they lived at Aberpeithnant Farm. For some time after the death of her husband Sephora remained at the farm with two of her sons, but in old age she lived at Neuadd Fawr, Talybont with the family of her daughter Annie Evans. She appears there on the Census of 1901 and 1911.
