Biography
Ellen (Morgans) Jenkins lost a husband in the
Universal Colliery disaster on 24-May 1901
Ellen was born about 1869.
She married Rees Thomas, a coal miner, in 1890. [1] They had 5 children by 1901. [2] [3]
Ellen became widowed on 24 May 1901 when her husband died tragically in the Universal Colliery disaster.
She remarried John Jenkins in 1909. [4] They had one daughter by 1911. [5]
