Thomas Jenkins was born in Wales in 1802, died in 1867. He was a coal miner, and a member of the Congregational church. Eliza (Morgans) Jenkins was born in Wales, died at the age of sixty-five years, while on the voyage to this country in 1866, and was buried at Halifax, Nova Scotia. They had children: i. Ann, who married Thomas Gray, died in 1914 at the age of eighty-five years. 2. Gwennie, married William Thomas, and lives at South Side, Pittsburgh. 3. Eliza, married a Mr. Sullivan, lived at Pittsburgh, both now deceased. 4. Lucy, married John Evans, lived in Pittsburgh, both deceased. 5. Mary, married George Reese, lived at Dennis, Ohio, both now deceased. 6. Catherine, who married Mr. Gray, as above stated. 7. Margaret, married John Thomas, both deceased, lived at South Side, Pittsburgh. 8. William, a coal miner, died in Pittsburgh. 9. Hannah, married Joseph Thomas, now deceased; she lives in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
