Hi John,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles sometimes need.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Yes, John, that's fine about adding the pre-1500 profile. Send the information over to me and I will add it for you.

I don't think this new burial date of May 1682 for Edward Blagdon is quite correct. The Will was proved in 1676 and, in order for it to be proved, he had to be deceased. There is another burial record on FMP for an Edward buried in Washfield: 24 January 1675, so I think that is more logically the right one.

Hi John,

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! This certification requires participation in a project related to the profiles you wish to edit. Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Let me know! I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders. Welcome aboard!
