- U.S. Veteran Robert D. Morgan, age 82, of Burnsville, passed away October 12, 2014 at Ebenezer Care Center in Burnsville. Survived by his children, William Morgan, Patricia (Gregg) Springer, Tracy Morgan-Batrez, Steve Morgan; step-daughter, Denisha (James) Workizer and by Betty Semmerling his special friend of 20 years; also by his eight beloved grandchildren; three step-grandchildren, and his sister Dora (Loren) Behrens. Honorary Pallbearers, Allison Springer, Kyle Springer, Brooke Morgan, Alex Morgan, Zackary Batrez, and Tyler Workizer. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM Monday, October 20, 2014 at Lutheran Church of the Ascension (1801 E. Cliff Rd.) Burnsville. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment: Ft. Snelling National Cemetery[1]
