Biography

Mary Agnes Morgan was born on the 17th of October 1864 at Moonee Ponds, Victoria, Australia. She was the third child and eldest daughter of John Morgan (1829-1880) and Margaret Alice Kelly (1834-1904), ^[1] lessees of the original Cross Keys Hotel in Essendon.

She married John Adams in 1887 ^[2] and for a short time they lived in Sydney. John's brother Edward was also living in Sydney at that time.

Mary and John separated in later years and the battle for maintenance for their youngest two children played out in the local newspaper. ^[3]http://ancestorchaser.blogspot.com.au/2012/08/trove-tuesday.html

Mary passed away in 1933 in North Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She was 68 years old. ^[4]

Cause of death Arteriosclerosis, Cerebral haemorrhage and Cardiac failure.^[5]

Mary is buried at Fawkner Memorial Park Roman Catholic Compartment I Grave 3516^[6]
