Elizabeth Smith
There were four children born to this marriage. Harriet died at age 40. Her sister Emma brought u the remaining 3 children. George emirgrated to South Africa, Vryheid where he worked as a stone mason. He remarried a Julia Arnold born 29/07/1858. He reverted back to Morgan. Julia came out to South African without the children.

George Henry Morgan and his father John George Morgan had a row. When George married Harriet Smith on the 25th April 1879 at St James Parish Oldham Lancashire, witnesses at the wedding were Harriet's brother and sister George and Sarah Jane Smith. George Henry put his name as Smith. Hence all the children of this marriage become "Smith" when they should have been Morgan
