Platte City Cemetery, Platte Co MO; Joseph Morgan, deemed to be the only Revolutionary soldier buried in Platte Co. Born in Rome, Italy in 1739, died in 1841 at 102 years. Grave has been marked by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Morgan was present at the surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown.
He passed away about 1841.
