Biography
Thomas Morgan was born 10 Sep 1822 in Greene County, Ohio.[1][2][3][4][5]
Thomas Morgan was involved in the westward expansion of the USA. See Westward Ho!.
Thomas arrived in the Oregon Territory in 1845 to farm Donation Land Claim #OC 2028 in Linn County. He also obtained two Provisional Land Grants in Champoeg County 4 Nov 1846 and 14 Oct 1847.[1] Thomas traveled as a single to Oregon as part of the last wagon train of 1845, the New London Emigrating Company.[6]
Thomas married Lydia B Courtney, probably daughter of Nancy Courtney, on 1 Dec 1847 in Marion County, Oregon Territory.[1][3][7][8][9]
