Frederick is the son of Fredrick John Morgan and Francis Manley. He married Florence Mary Gibbs, daughter of Thomas Gibbs and Mary Greatwood, on March 29, 1912 at Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Frederick joined the Canadian Over-seas Expeditionary Force on May 20, 1915. He was a member of the Canadian Army Veterinary Corps (Division: 1st Canadian Veterinary Hospital, Service Number: 49143). He died at the age of 27 in France during WWI and is buried in Sainte Marie Cemetery (Le Havre, Departement de la Seine-Maritime, Haute-Normandie, France).
