Enoch was born in 1784. He passed away in 1859.

Feb. 1784 Enoch H. Morgan, Jr. is born in Fauquier County Va., son of Enoch and Lititia Morgan. (Source: 1850 Greenbrier County, West Virginia census. Greenbrier County death records name his parents, Book 1A, page 20, line 79. "Descendants of Enoch Morgan," a 70+ page report filed with the Greenbrier [County, WVa] Historical Society, Descendants of Randle Morgan submitted by Mike Morgan, .

March 23, 1824 Enoch Morgan, Jr. sold his 1/9 interest in the land "being part of the land his father" Enoch Morgan, Sr. owned to his brother Noah Morgan. Enoch signed the deed with his mark. (Jan. 20, 1818 an inventory of Enoch Morgan's personal property is made. This is filed on March 16, 1818. (Source: Culpeper County, Va. Deed Book RR page 44-45). Note: States 1/9 interest. This would indicate nine people has an interest in the Enoch Morgan, Sr. land at this time.

Feb. 28, 1838 Enoch Morgan Jr. marries Sally Holsapple (born 1796) in Greenbrier County, Virginia (now West Virginia).

They were the parents of

  1. Mary Jane Morgan, born 1843 in Greenbrier County Va., now WV,. She married George Washington H. Campbell on May 25, 1865;
  1. Enoch Morgan [III], born 1845 and married Elizabeth N. Morgan, March 27, 1870
