Family information sees Mary Josephine as a music teacher who lived in Swansea looking after her father. When he passed away she travelled to Ballingarry and joined the Presentation Order of nuns. She became the Mother Superior of the convent and passed away on 15th December 1946 with Broncho-pnuemonia.
