In the 1851 census Allan (age 35), Carter, was the head of household at 114 Brickwork, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.[1]
In the 1871 census Allan (age 55), Labourer, was the head of household in Mile End, Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.[2]
In the 1881 census Allan (age 66), Granite Polisher, was the head of household in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.[3]
Allan's death (age 67) was registered in 1882 in the Boddam district.[4]
