Etta Berneice Edgerly, 72, of San Rafael, passed away in Deming on Feb. 6, 2005.

She was born on June 16, 1932, in Cove, Ark., to Ethel L. Apple Morgan and Horace Morgan. Mrs. Edgerly lived in Lone Wolf, Okla., from 1940 to 1965. She married Veryl R. Edgerly in Houston, Texas, on July 3, 1982. He is a minister of the Pentecostal Church of God.

Mrs. Edgerly is survived by her husband Rev. Veryl R. Edgerly of San Rafael; her two grandchildren Shara Lynn Hatcher of Pasadena, Texas, and Melissa Lanette Lively of Porter, Texas; her three great-grandchildren; her two sisters Lois Dobbs of Houston and Joyce McGehee and husband Charles of Millerton, Okla.; her brother Charles Morgan and wife Marilyn of Valliant, Okla.; her step-son Vernon Leroy Edgerly of Lewiston, Idaho; her two step-daughters Verla Rene Fletcher of Angleton, Texas, and Verna Ruth Oberg of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and her six step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ethel and Horace Morgan; her daughter Linda Gayle Hatcher; her sister Louise Martin and her brother-in-law Woodrow Dobbs.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 11, 2005, at 10 a.m. at the People's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Burnsworth officiating. Burial will be at Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of People's Co-operative Funeral Home.
